Marines and Marine Veterans are welcomed to the Nike World Headquarters. These Marines will participate in a track and field training camp from in Portland, Ore. from August 18-22, 2014. The camp is a part of the Wounded Warrior Regiment's Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program (WAR-P), which provides opportunities for Marines to engage in both physical and cognitive activities outside the traditional therapy setting. Training sessions will include practical application through short and long distance running, throwing, swimming, and conditioning which builds endurance and develops the skills they learn.
