Marc Genest, professor of strategy and policy at the U.S. Naval War College (NWC), addresses distance education adjunct faculty during the annual faculty workshop at the NWC in Newport, R.I. The four-day gathering marked the centennial year of the NWC’s distance education program, and enabled non-resident faculty to reconnect with colleagues, receive updates on curriculum changes, and share experiences on ways to approach various case studies to assure that students receive a consistent educational experience.
