A Brazilian Navy Sailor observes as U.S. Navy hospital corpsmen with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South work together with Brazilian Naval forces to provide emergency medical care to a simulated casualty during the practical application portion of a bi-lateral medical exchange at Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 6, 2014. The exchange was held as part of a theater security cooperation event with the Logistics Combat Element of SPMAGTF-South. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in support of her maiden transit, "America Visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl.
