    Petty Officer 2nd Class Gabriel Besa, a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Pearland, Texas, observes as a Brazilian Sailor provides emergency medical care to a simulated casualty during the practical application portion of a bi-lateral medical exchange of knowledge at Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 6, 2014. The exchange was held as part of a theater security cooperation event with the Logistics Combat Element of SPMAGTF-South. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches.
