Pvt. 1st Class James Jones, 1st-Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 30th Brigade Combat Team, moves tactically out of the kill zone during an Urban Operations field training exercise. After evacuating the kill zone area, Soldiers are then trained to identify areas of enemy threats, move in on their location, and eliminate hostile threat without harming "friendlies." A term used in the battle field for persons who pose no threat. The 30th Brigade will be deploying to Iraq this year.
