McCormick, along with other members of Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix VIII, filled the dining facility at Camp Phoenix, Kabul, Afghanistan, to watchthe Super Bowl match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals. McCormick is a member of Company D, Security Force, Logistics Task Force, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat team.
