U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Steven Johnson and other Marines push a CH-53 helicopter onto a U.S. Air Force C-5 on Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, Jan. 29. The helicopters were assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa and were supporting search and rescue missions and Medical Civil Action Programs in the Horn of Africa. The Marines were deployed from Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., and the Air Force C-5 and crew were out of Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass.
