Staff Sgt. Aaron Meier, military policeman from Fairmont, Minn., assigned to the 40th Military Police Detachment, out of Fort Sill, Okla., attached to the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, clears a polling site with his K-9 Kevin, Jan. 29, in the Abu T'shir community of the Rashid District in southern Baghdad. Meier and Kevin, part of the Falcon K-9 Team, assisted Soldiers from the 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., implement physical security and force protection measures to ensure the safety of voters during Iraq's provincial elections on Jan. 31.
