Sgt. 1st Class Carmen Centennial, a platoon sergeant from San Antonio, assigned to Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, checks identification cards and papers for an Iraqi citizen violating a ban in support of Iraq's Provincial Elections Jan. 31. Centennial and the Soldiers of "Comanche" Troop doubled their security patrols in the Abu T'shir and Saha communities of the Rashid District from dusk till dawn to enforce the driving ban which was implemented by Iraq's Ministry of Interior to help secure the provincial elections, Iraq's third democratic election since Operation Iraqi Freedom began in 2003.
