McKinney, second from right, observe a display replicating military training of the Taehan Empire July 17 during a visit to the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Visiting the museum gave the U.S. Marines an opportunity to learn more about the history of their ROK Marine counterparts before beginning Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-12. U.S. Marines will execute bilateral training to familiarize themselves with the South Korean peninsula and enhance interoperability with ROK Marines. Johnson is a Salt Lake City, Utah, native, and McKinney is a Houston, Texas, native.
