A time fuse is ignited July 23 at Susungri Range, Pohang, Republic of Korea, as part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-12. Participating U.S. Marines calculated how fast the fuse burns, which is essential for adhering to proper safety procedures while on a demolitions range. Demolitions were a portion of bilateral training between ROK and U.S. Marines during KMEP 14-12. The participating ROK Marines are with 7th Company, Engineer Battalion, 1st ROK Division. The U.S. Marines are with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Diamond N. Peden/Released)
