U.S. Air Force pararescuemen also known as PJ (para-jumper) from the, Alaska Air National Guard's Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska and (Pararescue/Guardian Angels) from Davis-Monthan AFB Ariz., provide medical treatment to a simulated patients during simulated mass casualty combat training scenario, while a 210th Rescue Squadron helicopter hovers in the background July 30, 2014. The PJs are responsible for providing emergency and lifesaving services to military personnel and civilians in both peacetime and combat environments, they go behind enemy lines before anyone else to set on a drop zone/air field and help call in fire support.
