U.S. Air Force pararescuemen also known as PJs (para-jumpers) from the, Alaska Air National Guard Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska and PJs from the (Pararescue/Guardian Angels) Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., assess the scene during simulated mass casualty combat training scenario upon arrival at the drop zone / air field July 30, 2014. The PJs are responsible for providing emergency and lifesaving services to military personnel and civilians in both peacetime and combat environments. They go behind enemy lines before anyone and help call in fire support.
