U.S. Marine Sgt Andrew McClure, Bravo Company, 407th Civil Affairs Battalion civil affairs specialist speaks with Djiboutian cadets July 21, 2014, at the Arta Interservice Military Academy in Djibouti. McClure spoke with cadets about military values as part of an English discussion group that included watching portions of the movie “We Were Soldiers.” The 407th CA BN falls under the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Joint service members at CJTF-HOA work to enhance joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multinational partnerships to enable troop contributing countries to the African Union Mission in Somalia neutralize violent extremist organizations.
