The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award is presented to Capt. Mitchell Williams of Monroe, La., Walter and Vera Gates of West Monroe, La., and Jerald Derouche of Monroe, La., during a recent ceremony at the Louisiana National Guard 527th Engineer Battalion's West Monroe, La., armory. On hand for the award presentation were Jack N. Humphries, state chairman of the Louisiana Committee for ESGR, local members of the ESGR, and Soldiers from the 527th.
