Soldiers from the 83rd Chemical Battalion, also known as Task Force Operations, from Fort Stewart, Ga., conduct casualty decontamination operations at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center during exercise Vibrant Response 14, July 24, 2014. Joint Task Force Civil Support is also participating in Vibrant Response, which is the largest Department of Defense confirmation exercise for specialized response forces. This multi-service, multi-agency exercise will evaluate the ability of JTF-CS and other DOD forces to respond to multiple catastrophic events in a major metropolitan city involving a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incident.
