Service members from Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa conduct civil affairs missions in areas of western Kenya which were racked by post election violence earlier this year. Soldiers from Civil Affairs Team 4, Delta Company 412th Civil Affairs Battalion, Special Operations, work with local villagers and Kenyan government officials to rebuild schools burnt down in the worst of the violence. Kenyan military police provide security and force protection for the workers helping to rebuild the school in Geta.
