A paratrooper, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, ground guide’s a High Mobility Multipurpose Vehicle (HMMWV) shortly after it was dropped from a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules, with a parachute, on Piaskowy Airfield, Poland, June 26. The 173rd Airborne is participating in an unscheduled land-forces exercise, invited at the request of the host nation to conduct an exercise to increase security cooperation in the region.
