Marines load an internally transportable vehicle onto an MH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to the Blackhawks of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 15, Det. 2, on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22 Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
