The Minneapolis, Minn. Veterans Affairs Medical Center along with other civilian emergency management organizations and the 133rd Airlift Wing performed a transportation exercise on the base on Thursday, June 19. Conducting exercises ensures everyone involved with the Natural Disaster Medical System can work together efficiently to ensure the wellbeing and timely delivery of patients to different entities that Minnesota state would have to offer in a natural disaster scenario.
