The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center along with other civilian emergency management organizations and the 133rd Airlift Wing performed a transportation exercise on the base on Thursday, June 19. Conducting exercises ensures everyone involved with the Natural Disaster Medical System can work together efficiently to ensure the well-being and timely delivery of patients to different entities that Minnesota state would have to offer in a natural disaster scenario.
