As an officer-in-charge of one of the first Female Engagement Teams in Afghanistan, Capt. Claire E. Henry shares her experiences with building, training and establishing a FET to Latvian Armed Forces servicemembers during an Introduction to FET Concepts event in Adazi Military Base, Latvia. U.S. Marines introduced Female Engagement Team concepts to a group of Latvian servicemembers from June 17-19 at Adazi Military Base, Latvia; this introduction was the first step for the Baltic partner to further evaluate the capability for use within their own military.
