Lt. Col. Aron Kalmus, commander of the Estonian Defense Forces’ 1st Infantry Brigade, thanks 1st Lt. Andrew Teruya, a paratrooper assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, for his work while training in Estonia during a ceremony at Amari Air Base, June 19. The ceremony marked the arrival of Troop B, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade. Troop B replaced paratroopers from the brigade’s Company C, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, as part of approximately 600 paratroopers from the brigade training with NATO allies in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
