Under the hot noon-day sun, Staff Sgt. Patrick Swain, a fuel handler with the 186th Brigade Support Battalion of the Vermont Army National Guard, quenches his thirst at a water buffalo at Fort Polk, La., June 17. Swain was placed in charge of a logistical mobilization group on Peason Ridge during a Decisive Action Training Exercise rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center here.
