U.S. Marines with Headquarters Regiment, 1st Marine Logistics lift up a tent to lock out the legs of the Command Operation Center (COC) during exercise Desert Scimitar 2014 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 5th, 2014. The COC acts as the main operation center during the training exercise. 1st Marine Logistics Group provided continuous combat logistical support to the 1st Marine Division during exercise Desert Scimitar 2014; an annual training event which simulates a forward deployed environment in support of 1st Marine Expeditionary Forces.
