U.S. Soldiers from 1st Platoon, 125th Multi-Role Bridge Company (MRBC) work together to set up a M1975 Dry Support Bridge (DSB) during their annual training at the Clarks Hill Training Site in Plum Branch, S.C., July 17, 2014. The DSB is a new piece of equipment in their inventory and allows the engineers to quickly span an area of nearly 40 meters. The 125th MRBC has the ability to build bridges that temporarily replace damaged or destroyed bridges to help during evacuations or allow emergency personnel into an area after a hurricane or other disaster. The 125th MRBC can build bridges across large gaps of land and across the water. They are one of the few units in the southeast with the training and equipment to handle this scenario.
