Marines with Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, return to the USS Comstock from a simulated noncombatant evacuation operation via a landing craft utility during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 16. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5.
