Iraqi national police of the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aburisha Brigade, annotate the name and address of an Iraqi family found to have an AK-47 assault rifle, Dec. 30, 2008. The citizen gave the weapon to the Iraqi security forces, who were visiting houses in the Abu T'shir community to enforce Baghdad's " Weapons Free" Policy in support of the Fardh al Qanoon, Rule of Law. The NP, attached to the 7th Bde., 2nd NP Division, confiscated the weapon and recorded the information to include the weapons serial number for their databases. Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, partnered with the NP during the combined cordon and search operations in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad.
