U.S. Army Capt. The exercise is a U.S. Army Europe-directed multinational exercise, including more than 4,000 participants from 15 allied and partner countries. The gunnery is the first time a U.S. Army rotational force uses the European Activity Set, a set of armored vehicles and equipment prepositioned in Grafenwoehr – including the most up-to-date versions of the M1A2 Abrams tanks and M2/M3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles - for live-fire training in Europe.
