Toshi Yokoyama, right, laughs with Gunnery Sgt. Francisco M. The celebrations pay tribute to both American and Japanese veterans of the battle of Saipan and Tinian during World War II. Members of the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band will be taking part in the ceremonies, a parade and various social events. Yokoyama is a native of Osaka, Japan.
