Clint Baker (right), commanding officer of 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment and the former commander of 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment, stands with other members of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division as they prepare to draw parachutes June 8 at the airport in Cherbourg, France. The trip to Normandy gave Baker the opportunity to walk the ground where his former unit fought during World War II.
