Kelli Richardson, the Marine Aircraft Group 16 family readiness officer, explains the sequence of events to participants, parents and Marines during the MAG-16 Junior Jarhead Day in aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., June 7. During the event, children were split into platoons by age. Then platoons went through an obstacle course, listened to demonstrations from Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting, and ventured through a CH-53E Super Stallion and an MV-22B Osprey.
