    III Corps Adopt-A-School program

U.S. Army Spc. Holly Youmans (center), who is from Richmond, Va., and Pfc. Carly Singleton, who is from Glendora, Calif., help 6th grader Faith Pruitt build a bird house during the III Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion's field day with Eastern Hills Middle School. Soldiers with the HHBN spent a day at the Parrie Haynes Ranch south of Killeen with more than 300 kids from EHMS, their adopted school. The III Corps and Fort Hood Adopt-A-School program contributes military resources and services to schools in order to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of children in the greater Fort Hood area, focusing on providing Soldier resources to teach, coach, mentor, and inspire students.
