On Nov. 20, Echo Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade Troops Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, of the Texas Army National Guard arrived at Camp Liberty, Iraq. Comprised of Soldiers from all over Texas, they recently completed a rigorous four month pre-mobilization program at training sites in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Georgia. At these locations they learned the skills, tactics, and teamwork that will allow them to successfully complete their new mission in Iraq. Additionally, E Company has received 46 Soldiers from the 317th Maintenance Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade out of Bamberg, Germany, who will play an important role in the successful completion of their mission. All of the Soldiers are excited to finally be in Iraq and are fully prepared for the tough road ahead.
