Iraq Campaign Medals are laid out in preparation for a presentation ceremony for the Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, which is part of the Texas National Guard. The medals were presented to the Arrowhead Soldiers during a Christmas Day ceremony on Camp Victory in Baghdad. Individuals authorized the Iraq Campaign Medal must have served in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The area of eligibility encompasses all land area of the country of Iraq, the contiguous water area and air space out to 12 nautical miles. Service members must have been assigned, attached or mobilized to units operating in the area of eligibility for 30 consecutive days or for 60 non-consecutive days.
