Lt. Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, commander, Multi-National Corps – Iraq, presents coins of excellence to 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division Soldiers deployed to Forward Operating Base Paliwoda in Balad, Iraq, Dec. 25. Austin toured the country Dec. 24 and 25 on a holiday visit to service members stationed across Iraq, delivering a message of thanks and well wishes to all. He and his command team stopped at 7 different outposts on Christmas Day.
