Operations Officer Laura Goodwin responds to a phone call reporting a simulated plane crash at the Airport Operations Center at V.C. Bird International Airport. The simulated crash kicked off a mass casualty exercise June 4 as a part of Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
