ALI BASE, Iraq - Touring the vehicle maintenance facility of the 407th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron here, Secretary of the Air Force Michael W. Wynne (second from left) hears success stories from Lt. Col. Jody Cox, 407th ELRS commander, Chief Master Sgt. Howard Metcalf, 407th ELRS superintendent, and Col. Don Palandech, 407th Air Expeditionary Group commander. The 407th ELRS vehicle maintenance flight increased the vehicles in commission rate to more than 92 percent during this AEF rotation, the highest its been since the start of operations at Ali Base in 2003.
