A Sons of Iraq member counts his cash to verify he received 354,000 Iraqi dinars, about $300 in U.S. currency, for his Government of Iraq monthly salary at Joint Security Station Beladiyat, Dec. 18. Iraqi Capt. Hadi, 8th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division financial officer, paid 80 SoI and Daughters of Iraq 354,000 Iraqi dinars each at the JSS for their November salaries. December marked the second consecutive month the GoI paid SoI salaries since accepting the responsibility, Oct. 1.
