Spc. Jeffery Lavigne, a Linolakes, Minn., native, observes Iraqi citizens entering the Aqur Quf Nahia meeting, west of Baghdad, Dec. 20. Coalition Forces attend the meeting to observe the progress the local government made bringing essential services to the area. Lavigne serves as mortarman assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, attached to 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, "Gimlets," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
