U.S. Army soldiers from the 2-24th Aviation Battalion train Task Force Oso on the standards of loading and unloading casualties from medical vehicles during Beyond the Horizon on June 1, 2014 in Zacapa, Guatemala. Although no injuries are expected, all task force members are capable of assisting in evacuating soldiers using several methods of medical evacuation. Beyond the Horizon is an annual exercise that embraces the partnership between the United States and Guatemala, to provide focused humanitarian assistance through various medical, dental, and civic action programs.
