Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 54th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division, speak with a local Iraqi citizen during a combined operation in the Hateen neighborhood of northwest Baghdad, Dec. 22. The Iraqi security force soldiers were participating in a combined operation with the 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, operationally attached to the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad. The operation was led by Lt. Col. Hamza, commander, 2nd Bn., 54th Bde., 6th IA Div. and involved searching more than 100 houses, a number of large open fields and debris.
