Two Iraqi Mi-17 Hip helicopters conduct an aeromedical evacuation mission from the Air Force Theater Hospital Patient Administration and Disposition area at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Dec. 20. Three Iraqi patients were aeromedically transported from Balad to the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad and returned to their homes from there. This was the second time the Iraqi air force has conducted an aeromedical evacuation from the PAD.
