A chart depicts the search area plotted during an exercise between the U.S. Coast Guard and Republic of Palau's Pacific Patrol Boat, PSS Remeliik, May 19. Remeliik assigned assets to specific search areas during the exercise and plotted the progress of those assets on the chart. U.S. Coast Guard ship riders aboard the PSS Remeliik taught Palauan officials how to plot assets and conduct a standardized expanding square search. U.S. Coast Guard photo by Lt.j.g. Grant Rutter.
