French Foreign Legion Sgt. Gino Chan, a paratrooper from the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment (2REP), collects his parachute after performing a joint forceable entry airdrop with the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division from Ft. Bragg, N.C., at Paolomagno Drop Zone, near Solenzara Air Base, Corsica, France, on May 29, 2014, in support of Allied Forge 2014. The 2REP, part of the French Army's 11th Parachute Brigade, is the most capable infantry battalion in the French Army with recent airborne operational experience in Mali.
