Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin who participated in the Fire Team Leaders’ Course over the past two weeks receive their graduation certificates aboard Robertson Barracks, Australia, May, 31, 2014. The course tested a variety of basic infantry skills while demanding communication and teamwork from every fire team. The rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an excellent combined training opportunity with Australian Defence Force, and improves interoperability between both forces.
