II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) commanding general, Maj. Gen. Richard T. Tryon, shakes the hand of Lt. Col. Carl Steele, the chaplain for Camp Ramadi and the 81st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, Washington Army National Guard, Dec. 12, 2008 during his visit to Camp Ramadi. Tryon is scheduled to replace Maj. Gen. John F. Kelly, the commanding general for I MEF, after the New Year. Headquarters Company, 81st HBCT has been conducting base sustainment operations on Camp Ramadi since their arrival in late October, which is home to many I MEF Marines. 81st HBCT's approximately 3,400 Soldiers are spread out across Iraq.
