    13th AMU maintainers support Eager Lion 2014

    U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class John Lace, an assistant dedicated crew chief with the 13th Aircraft Maintenance Unit at Misawa Air Base, Japan, communicates with an F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot after a preflight check during Exercise Eager Lion May 27, 2014, at an air base in northern Jordan. Along with crew chiefs, many other maintenance career fields, including avionics, phase and weapons, are responsible for getting the F-16s in the air. This year, more than 12,500 personnel from more than 20 nations are participating in the exercise, which is designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships and interoperability.
