Iraqi Minister of Defense Jawad al-Bolani and Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq commanding general U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick cut the ribbon opening the Weapon Card / ID card facility. The Iraqi Ministry of Interior opened a new Weapon Card/ID Card facility to issue firearm permits and identification cards to all MoI employees. The cards contain complete identifying information including biometric data--fingerprints and iris images.
