Retired Maj. Gen. James B. Mallory III, addresses the audience just after the presentation ceremony where Maj. Gen. Gill Beck, commanding general of the 81st Regional Support Command, awarded the Bronze Star Medal to Col. Joseph Crosswhite at the Hall of Justice in Statesville, North Carolina. Crosswhite served a tour in Afghanistan as an advisor to Aghan prosecutors and judges. Crosshwhite served as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 81st prior to his deployment and is currently the Chief of International and Operational Law at Army Forces Command at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
